In the spring of 2013, the Big Stone SWCD was able to purchase a new 10' Great Plains grass drill. This purchase would not have been possible without the $11,000 contribution toward the drill from the Big Stone County Pheasants Forever chapter! It is through the local chapter's financial help that the District can continue grass seeding services for private lands and for programs such as CRP to local landowners.
